“MORGASE”
ARCADIA'S MINT TO BE AT LANFEAR

cuddle bug.jpg

Morgase came to us from Arcadia Newfoundlands in Quebec from Chantal Nault and we are thrilled to have her here! Unfortunately she was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia (sadly an all-too-common issue in the breed that can still occur even with generations of cleared dogs) so she was removed from our breeding program but continues to be a much loved pet in our home. She is incredibly sweet and loving with a fun playful side - exactly the kind of temperament expected of a newfoundland.

Morgase is part of the OFA Hip Dysplasia Biomarker Study. It's a neat study where they are testing to see if they can predict early onset of hip dysplasia by examining blood and urine samples of affected/non-affected dogs.
